Greetings to DPRK Minister of National Defence from His Chinese Counterpart

Kang Sun Nam, minister of National Defence of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, received a message of greeting from Wei Fenghe, state councilor and minister of National Defense of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Army (KPA).
Extending warm congratulations and best wishes to all the officers and men of the KPA, the message noted that under the steadfast guidance of the Workers’ Party of Korea headed by Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un, the KPA has been steadily expanded and strengthened and has achieved great successes in the work for winning national liberation, defending the leadership of the Party, and safeguarding and building Korean-style socialism.
The traditional friendship between China and the DPRK is everlasting, the message said, adding that the China-DPRK relations have entered a new historic stage and the traditional friendship of the two armies, an important component of the bilateral relations, has been steadily consolidated and developed under the strategic guidance of the top leaders of the two parties and the two countries in recent years.
The message expressed the will to strive for sincerely implementing the common understanding of the top leaders of the two parties and the two countries and defending the friendship of the two armies and the regional peace and stability.
Meanwhile, a floral basket in the name of the PRC Ministry of National Defense was conveyed to the DPRK Ministry of National Defence.
Written in the ribbons of the floral basket are letters reading "Celebration of 75th Founding Anniversary of the Korean People’s Army".
