Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a congratulatory message to Vo Van Thuong, president of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on March 2.
In the message, he extended his warm congratulations and greetings to Vo Van Thuong upon his election as the president of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Your election as the president of the State is an expression of deep trust and expression of the Communist Party of Vietnam and all the Vietnamese people, he said.
Availing myself of this opportunity, I express belief that the good friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and the two countries, which have been put on a new high stage, will further develop in line with the aspiration and desire of the peoples of the two countries, and heartily wish you great success in your responsible work, the message said.
