South Hwanghae Province is directing efforts to the farming in the low-yield fields while accelerating the immediate farming.
The Provincial Rural Economy Committee has introduced seeds of choice varieties suited to the geographical characteristics and is working hard to make a progress in the farming in the low-yield fields.
It is providing a guarantee for high and stable yield by introducing high-yielding new varieties including salt-resisting paddy-rice seed, dry-field rice seed and wheat seed.
Besides, it is organizing on a regular basis the work to introduce different kinds of advanced cultivating methods and agricultural technique into the farming in low-yield fields.
