The Jungphyong Greenhouse Farm under the Rural Economy Committee of North Hamgyong Province produced many vegetables of different kinds in a little over three years after its inauguration, making a contribution to enriching the people's diet.
The farm distributed varieties properly and introduced a double cultivating method while doing all the work in every farming process according to the technical regulations, increasing the unit-area yield.
It paid attention to diversifying the variety of the vegetable crops and introducing choice varieties and provided a guarantee for raising the proportion of varieties of tasty and highly nutritious fruit vegetables of different kinds in contact with researchers of a relevant sector.
The farm produced large quantities of vegetables of various kinds and supplied them to the people of the province including the Chongjin citizens and also to the major construction sites and primary and middle schools for orphans every year.
