Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- True to the Party's programme of rural revolution in the new era, big efforts are directed to consolidating the material and technical foundations of city and county construction units in the DPRK.
The central headquarters for rural construction and each provincial headquarters set a stage-by-stage goal for raising the proportion of mechanization in construction. They are now striving to attain it, while making survey of the provision of vehicles and construction equipment and tools as well as the construction of finishing building materials production bases and taking necessary steps.
Districts and counties in Pyongyang City have paid attention to securing vehicles and construction equipment.
North Hamgyong Province generalized the experience gained in building up the Hoeryong City Construction Brigade as a model, urging other city and county construction units to equip themselves with necessary equipment and facilities.
Nampho and Rason cities have developed and produced efficient construction utensils and tools for construction units.
