Pyongyang, March 21 (KCNA) -- The Ryugyong Dental Hospital and the Okryu Children's Hospital, modern medical service bases, are located in the Munsu area of Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK.
The hospitals are associated with the devoted efforts made by the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un to promote the health of people, especially the children.
The General Secretary personally came up with the construction of hospitals, guided the work ranging from designing to completion, and named them.
One day in March Juche 103 (2014), he visited the Ryugyong Dental Hospital, which had been providing good medical service since its inauguration on October 13, 2013, and requested its doctors to cure the patients well. When he went to the Okryu Children's Hospital, he said that the hospital was built exclusively for children and immediately solved the problems arising in its management and operation.
Bearing in their mind his instructions, the medical workers of the hospitals have made a contribution to promoting the people's health through their active medical science research and medical service over the past years.
The Ryugyong Dental Hospital established advanced remedies and developed new dental materials helpful to treatment and invented medical appliances and medical consumables, thus making good achievements in treatment.
The Okryu Children's Hospital, with the normal operation of the telemedicine system, has conducted lots of distance conferences and lectures for medical workers across the country to raise their practical abilities, and created and introduced advanced medical sci-technological achievements to help resuscitate many children.
The medical workers of the hospitals are now providing active medical service, out of determination to give full play to the advantages of the socialist public healthcare system in force in the DPRK. -0-
