Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- Bearing in mind the importance of their duty in implementing the Party's policies, officials and employees of the Central Tree Nursery under the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection in the DPRK have produced tens of millions of saplings to contribute to the spring tree planting.
The nursery directed efforts to securing seeds and raising soil fertility to provide conditions favorable for the growth of saplings.
It pushed ahead with the work to improve the technical knowledge and skills of its employees and accelerated the growth of saplings by keeping to the scientific and technological requirements according to their growth stages.
The nursery has cultivated ornamental saplings of several species by applying the method of production suited to their ecological characteristics. -0-
