Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- There took place a Permanent Commission session of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK.

The session discussed the issues of amending and supplementing the DPRK's laws on public health, medical service and road traffic before adopting relevant decrees.

Supplemented to the public health law and the medical service law are more contents urgently needed in giving fuller play to the advantages of the socialist healthcare system and ensuring a legal guarantee for the protection and promotion of the people's lives and health.

The road traffic law is supplemented with a number of new issues in combating traffic order violations. -0-
