Pyongyang, March 25 (KCNA) -- A general meeting of the DPRK Olympic Committee for Juche 112 (2023) took place here on Friday.
Present there were Vice-Premier Ri Song Hak, members of the Olympic Committee and officials in the field of sports and other relevant sectors.
The meeting reviewed the work of the DPRK Olympic Committee in Juche 111 (2022) and discussed the orientation of its work for Juche 112 (2023).
Kim Il Guk, minister of Physical Culture and Sports who doubles as chairman of the DPRK Olympic Committee, made a report to be followed by speeches.
The general meeting discussed practical issues arising in raising the level of specialized sports technique to a higher level, conducting mass sports briskly and further developing the sports education and scientific research work this year and stressed a series of issues for improving anti-doping work. -0-
