Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- Kangwon Province of the DPRK is increasing the production of wild fruit saplings.
The province mapped out a plan to create a large area of wild fruit trees in the spring tree planting period of this year and took measures to make the provincial, city, and county nurseries ensure the production of saplings.
The provincial nursery has produced millions of wild fruit saplings of great economic value suited to the climatic and soil conditions of the region.
City and county forest management stations, too, have produced many wild fruit saplings.
Officials and employees of the Munchon City Forest Management Station supply healthy saplings of wild fruits to different units in the city.
Anbyon and Ichon county forest management stations have made preparations for producing more wild fruit saplings than planned.
The province has intensified the organizational work to create woods of wild fruit trees in towns and counties in a far-sighted way. -0-
