Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- Since it was remodeled as an excellent cultural and leisure attraction, the Central Zoo of the DPRK has sent many rare animals to other zoos in different parts of the country for the past seven years.
Chairman Kim Jong Il gave an instruction to the Central Zoo to breed precious animals well and send them to regional zoos.
True to the Party's intention to provide the people with excellent spaces for highly civilized cultural and emotional life, officials, technicians and keepers of the zoo sent hundreds of animals of over 100 species to different regional zoos.
Many animals including dogs, monkeys, blue foxes and camels have found their new homes in regional zoos. -0-
