Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- True to the Party's grand programme for rural revolution in the new era, different parts of the DPRK have put spurs to building up the finishing building materials bases needed for rural housing construction and increasing the production of various kinds of building materials with locally available resources.
The central headquarters for rural construction worked out a detailed plan for producing finishing building materials and has taken practical measures to carry it into practice.
Pyongyang City is pushing ahead with the work to boost the tile production capacity while increasing the production of various building materials.
North Phyongan Province has made preparations for the production of building materials in cities and counties.
South Hamgyong Province stepped up the technical upgrading of equipment to make the production processes with increased capacity prove effective and took measures to ensure quality control and supply of raw materials to produce quality and diverse finishing building materials with locally available raw materials.
Jagang Province updated the foundation of more than 100 building-material production units in the region.
