Pyongyang, April 1 (KCNA) -- The 2023 Spring National Footwear Exhibition closed with due ceremony at the Pyongyang Yokjon Department Store on Friday.
On display at the exhibition were different kinds of shoes produced by more than 50 units across the country.
During the exhibition officials, technicians and producers of scientific research institutes and production units actively shared successes and experience through multi-faceted technological exchange, true to the intention of the Party which set the improvement of quality of consumer goods as the seed and main direction of the revolution in light industry.
The Sosong Songdo Leather Shoes Workshop has been highly appreciated for its smart, light and high quality products.
Men's and women's leather shoes and trainers by the Wonsan Leather Shoes Factory, the Ryuwon Footwear Factory and the Sinuiju Footwear Factory drew attention of the visitors.
Among those present at the closing ceremony were Vice-Premier Ri Song Hak, Minister of Light Industry Kim Chang Sok, officials concerned and officials of the participating units, teachers, researchers, technicians and three-revolution team members. -0-
