Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- A national industrial art exhibition was opened in the DPRK to celebrate the Day of the Sun.
On display at the venue of the exhibition are photos of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un giving field guidance to various national economic sectors.
Displayed at the exhibition on the theme of "Industrial art is a scouting party of economic construction and improvement of the people's living standard" are more than 540 pieces of designs, products and models created by industrial art experts and amateurs across the country, including more than 190 pieces of typical industrial art designs personally guided by Kim Jong Un .
An opening ceremony took place at the National Industrial Art Exhibition House on April 6.
Present there were Ri Song Hak, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Kim Sung Du, chairman of the Education Commission, Kim Jong Nam, minister of Machine-building Industry, Kim Chang Sok, minister of Light Industry, officials concerned and officials and creators in the field of industrial art.
Ri Song Hak made an opening address.
He called on all officials, creators, teachers and researchers to bring about an improvement in the creation of industrial art through fresh innovations, bold creation and steady advance and train more talents.
At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the exhibition. -0-
