The following happened during the strategic temporary retreat in the period of the Fatherland Liberation War.
One day in October Juche 39 (1950), the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, while acquainting himself with how the families of officers had been evacuated, came to know that the wife of an officer had lost her child in the enemy area on her way.
Quite surprised, he asked where she had lost the child and what measures had been taken concerning the lost child.
An official answered that no measures had been taken yet.
After a deep thought, Kim Il Sung said: We are now shedding blood for the future, that is, our children; the child must be found and brought back.
After pointing to the place on an operation map where the child had been lost, he formed a team for the mission for rescuing the child. Then he emphasized where the soldiers entrusted with the mission should sleep at night on their way and what they should do to find the child.
Thanks to his parental care for the rising generations, the lost child was finally rescued and all the children of the country could grow up as masters of the future in the flames of war.
