The letter-relay squad of South Hamgyong Province who took over the letter of loyalty of all the KCU members across the country to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un in Tanchon City ran along the east coastal region to arrive in Chonnae County of Kangwon Province on May 30.
Officials of local Party and power organs and working people's organizations, working people and schoolchildren warmly greeted and saw off the KCU members along the route.
Members of the letter-relay squad laid baskets of flowers and bouquets and paid homage to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il at their statues and mosaic murals depicting their images in relevant regions.
In another development, the letter-relay squad running along the west coastal region arrived in Haeju City of South Hwanghae Province on May 30 via South Phyongan Province and Nampho City.
They visited revolutionary battle sites, revolutionary sites and museums in different areas and looked round several industrial establishments and farms.
In the course of letter-relay, the KCU members held a question-and-answer study contest about the important letter General Secretary Kim Jong Un sent to the Ninth Congress of the Korean Children’s Union and conducted a variety of political and cultural activities including a meeting for boasting of ample knowledge, high morality and strong physique, a meeting for boasting of native places and schoolchildren’s popular dance.
