Pyongyang, June 2 (KCNA) -- The life of the victorious wartime generation is an example of genuine life to be followed by the younger generation for all ages, says Rodong Sinmun in an article Friday.
The worthwhile life of the immortal victorious wartime generation lies in that they not only performed great victory and miracles but also handed down as a legacy the noble spirit of uniting all generations of the revolution as one, the article says, and goes on:
The victorious wartime generation displayed matchless heroism and self-sacrificing spirit in the days of the grim war decisive to the destiny of the country and devotedly supported the Party and the revolution with patriotic enthusiasm for the prosperity of the country after the war. Their brilliant lives are recorded in the course of the development of the DPRK with gold letters, encouraging all of us to greater miracles and victories.
A revolution great in history and tradition and solid in succession is always victorious.
The Korean revolution will shine as the struggle for the rising generations and the sacred cause for the future forever as the people devote their all to the future to be bright, regarding the revolutionary life of the forerunners and their outlook on life as good textbook.
It is the bounden duty and obligation of all of us, the descendants of the victorious wartime generation, to build as early as possible a powerful socialist country visualized by the forerunners on this land where they had left patriotic traces all their lives.
All the officials, Party members and other working people should regard the worthwhile life of the heroic victorious wartime generation as a good textbook of the revolutionary outlook on life and wage a more dynamic struggle with their soul and spirit, thus making a positive contribution to hastening the overall development of socialist construction. -0-
