A meeting took place on the spot on June 2 to mark the 10th anniversary of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un’s field guidance to the Kosan Combined Fruit Farm.
The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the farm in June Juche 102 (2013) to learn about the expansion of its capacity and give precious instructions for radically increasing the fruit production.
Present at the meeting were Paek Song Guk, chief secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials concerned and officials and employees of the farm.
Hwang Kwang Chol, manager of the farm, made a report.
The reporter noted that the General Secretary expressed satisfaction over the Kosan Combined Fruit Farm which was turned into a thriving orchard thanks to the struggle of builders of the Construction Shock Brigade 618 and the employees of the farm.
He recalled that later the General Secretary visited the farm several times to open up a prospect for the development of fruit farming and showed such great benevolence as sending gifts of love to it.
Noting that the officials and employees of the farm have achieved proud successes in the fruit production for the past decade, true to the behests of Chairman Kim Jong Il and the leadership of the General Secretary, the reporter called upon all of them to glorify forever the leadership exploits of the Party which brought about a sea of apple trees at the foot of Chol Pass and make a tangible contribution to improving the people’s livelihood.
