Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- Amid the ever-escalating public struggle to oust war maniac and traitor Yoon Suk Yeol who has branded the people as "enemy" and sold sovereignty, economy, peace, human rights and all other things to outsiders, a large-scale rally was staged across the region of south Korean puppets on July 15 in demand of the Yoon "regime's" resignation.
Tens of thousands of workers and citizens took part in a rally held in Seoul under the sponsorship of the "Headquarters of the Movement for Ousting the Yoon Suk Yeol Regime" formed with 43 civic and public organizations including the Confederation of Trade Unions (CTU).
Industrial organizations under the CTU, the Federation of Metal Workers Unions, the "Candlelight Action" and other organizations held rallies in different parts of Seoul to declare the struggle for ousting traitor Yoon.
Speakers at the rallies charged that Yoon's crimes are untold and he is now trying to kill even their children through nuclear threat in collusion with outside forces. They called for launching the struggle for ousting the Yoon "regime" to defend their life and history and the future of their children and for continuing the struggle until Yoon steps down.
Industrial organizations of the CTU, the Federation of Metal Workers Unions, the Solidarity for Liberation of the Poor, the Federation of Peasants Associations and other organizations of various circles held a joint rally in Seoul.
Speakers said that not only the people's life but also labor, human rights and peace have been destroyed for a year since the emergence of the Yoon Suk Yeol "regime". They called upon all the people including workers, peasants and the poor to pool their efforts to pull down Yoon from power, stressing that Yoon, oblivious of the lesson of history, should be imprisoned.
A joint resolution was read out at the rally.
The resolution said that the inter-Korean relations have been totally destroyed, peace of the Korean peninsula is exposed to more serious threat than ever before and the danger of war is escalating due to the Yoon "regime's" hostile policy toward the north.
More citizens are now taking part in the struggle to overthrow the "regime" going against the people's livelihood, labor, human rights, democracy and peace, it said, declaring that they would punish the Yoon "regime" without fail.
That day, declarations on the situation were made public and rallies took place across the region of puppets by organizations of various circles.
The declarations and rallies condemned traitor Yoon Suk Yeol's criminal deeds and called on the people from all walks of life to turn out in the struggle for ousting the traitor. -0-
