Pyongyang, July 22 (KCNA) -- Anger at the U.S. and sycophantic traitor Yoon Suk Yeol is mounting in the region of south Korean puppets as they are working hard to ignite a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula at any cost.

The People's Action held a press conference in Ryongsan of Seoul, where traitor Yoon is residing, on July 18 at which it demanded an immediate stop to the moves for a nuclear war in collusion with outsiders.

Recalling that a meeting of the "Nuclear Consultative Group" (NCG) was held, speakers charged that the group is a consultative body for a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula.

They said that the recent NCG meeting is a consultation for all-out mobilization of the U.S. nuclear strategic assets at a time of a nuclear war, which is like a declaration heralding the start of a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula.

The first chapter of the nuclear war plan Yoon agreed to make with the U.S. has started, they said, adding this is evidenced by Yoon's claim at the meeting that it is necessary to bolster the extended deterrence through alliance of nuclear foundation.

Saying that there has been no restful day on this land ever since Yoon came to power and that it is as clear as noonday that the entire nation will be exterminated if a nuclear war breaks out on this land, they stressed that the blame for the prevailing nuclear war crisis is on the Yoon regime seeking to ignite a nuclear war by inviting foreign forces. They vowed to surely oust war-maniac Yoon through a courageous struggle.

The organization in a press release pointed out that a detailed discussion was made at the recent NCG meeting to build a powerful capability for prosecuting a nuclear war.

The "Washington Declaration", published in April last, made public the U.S. and the Yoon Suk Yeol regime's plan for operating strategic assets, which is aimed at a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula, the press release said, adding that the recent meeting is the staff meeting for a nuclear war.

It noted that the people on this land opposing war and aspiring after peace can never pardon the Yoon regime introducing the U.S. strategic assets to ignite a war.

Civic organizations held rallies in Ryongsan of Seoul on the same day.

Terming the NCG meeting a meeting for the Yoon regime discussing nuclear operation with the U.S., the organizations demanded that the traitor and war-maniac Yoon step down as he is trying to ignite a nuclear war in league with the U.S. and Japan.

The Society of April Revolution released an article under the title "The flag for resignation of Yoon Suk Yeol has been hoisted at last!" calling on the public to turn out in the struggle for ousting traitor Yoon. -0-
