Participants in Celebrations of 70th Anniversary of War Victory Arrive Pyongyang

In the period of the overall development of socialist construction in which all the people are demonstrating the dignity and invincibility of the DPRK to the whole world by inheriting the precious tradition of victory under the guidance of the Central Committee of the great Workers’ Party of Korea, celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War (1950-1953) will be held in Pyongyang, the capital city, as a grand political festival to be specially recorded in the history of the country.
The celebrations serve as a significant occasion of powerfully demonstrating the unshakable faith and will of all the people, service personnel and rising generations of the DPRK to accomplish the great cause of building a wealthy state with powerful army with the heroic spirit of the great annals and precious victory as the cornerstone of development and existence and extend the proud history of war victory of Juche Korea and 70 years of glory of its victory for 700 and 7 000 years longer.
Present there on invitation were the war veterans and persons of wartime merits who created the miraculous myth of war victory, remaining faithful to the idea and guidance of their leader, activists in the traits of assisting the army, persons of distinguished services, labor innovators and model soldiers who are devoting themselves to the prosperity of the DPRK and descendants of martyrs who are reliably carrying forward the lifeline of the Juche revolution by inheriting the noble spirit of the revolutionary forerunners.
The participants in the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War arrived here on Monday after leaving relevant areas amid the deep concern and warm loving care of our Party and state and wishes of the whole country.
Officials of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea warmly greeted the participants in the celebrations at Pyongyang International Airport and Pyongyang Railway Station.
Citizens congratulated the participants in the celebrations in streets of the capital city, waving their hands.
