Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, on Saturday had a photo session with the participants in the celebrations of the 75th DPRK birthday.

Attending the session were Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK, vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, and Pak Jong Chon, department director of the WPK Central Committee.

The participants were filled with the great delight and joy of having a photo taken before the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the sacred temple of Juche, which they had yearned for so much, after witnessing with a surge of excitement the valiant spirit and rosy future of the great country at the celebrations held in the presence of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on the 75th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

When Kim Jong Un arrived at the venue of photo session, all the participants broke into stormy cheers of "Hurrah!"

They extended the highest glory and warmest thanks to Kim Jong Un who has brought about great victories and prosperity to be eternally recorded in history, putting the national prestige and power of the DPRK on the highest level by vigorously leading the Party and the people to the only road of independent politics, self-supporting economy and self-reliant national defence.

Kim Jong Un waved back to the enthusiastically cheering crowds as a token of his warm greeting to the participants in the celebrations, other people across the country and all the service personnel who glorified the 75th founding anniversary of the DPRK as a great revolutionary event with high national pride and patriotic enthusiasm.

He said that the sacred development course of the DPRK for defending its dignity and building a rich country with strong army is shining with the indomitable fighting spirit and the proud achievements of the strong Korean people who firmly supported their motherland in the face of harsh ordeals, convinced of the validity and invincibility of their cause.

He said that the patriotic people, including the persons of merits and labor innovators who have dedicated themselves to creating valuable assets for the prosperity of the country by placing the state affairs above their family affairs in good or bad days, are the best assets representing the very might of the country, adding that the WPK is ushering in the era of great transformation unprecedented in the history of the country by relying on such people.

Expressing belief that all the participants in the celebrations would firmly preserve and carry forward the glorious history and traditions of the great independent power to continuously add luster to their honor as the standard-bearers and vanguard fighters of the era who take the lead in performing miracles and innovations in the all-people grand advance toward the overall national prosperity, he had a photo session with them.

When the photo session was over, the participants again broke into fervent cheers out of great excitement.

Kim Jong Un waved his hand for a long time toward the participants who were following him in tears, reluctant to part from him.

All the participants made a firm pledge to fulfill their vanguard role in the struggle for building a powerful socialist country, adding eternal glory to the era of our-state-first principle by remaining faithful to the great Comrade Kim Jong Un who is ensuring continuity of the history of victory and glory of Juche Korea generation after generation for the nation and the revolution.
