It seems to be a few days agowhen he set out on the long journey of Songun in earnest, but more than tenyears have already passed, he said. And he chanced to see his padded garment hewas wearing and said that he had worn it till then since the country startedthe Arduous March after President KimIl Sung passed away.
He then looked around theofficials and said he had worn it for more than ten years and he had continuouslyprovided field guidance at factories and farmsacross the country in those clothes over the past 10-odd years. Thispadded garment is a symbol of the Songun-based revolution and that of the ArduousMarch, he said, adding he had not put the padded clothes offas he could not forget the grim history.
