Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- The work to modernize local industrial factories is progressing apace in different parts of the country.
Prioritizing the improvement of quality, cities and counties in North Hamgyong Province have pushed ahead with the modernization of local industrial factories, thus making good results in establishing new production processes and manufacturing equipment.
South Hamgyong Province significantly held an exhibition of new products turned out by the Paekunsan General Foodstuff Factory to encourage all officials to buckle down to the modernization project.
North Phyongan Province set the Kusong City Foodstuff Factory as a model and has carried on the work to generalize it to cities and counties.
Other provinces and many cities and counties, too, are striving to build up their own technical forces and modernize local industrial factories on a high level while transferring and sharing advanced technology and experience. -0-
