Chinese Press Carries Exposé of Ulterior Motive Pursued by U.S. and West – They are Making “Victim” out of Villain

China’s Global Times recently carried a commentary on the remarks made by the U.S. Ambassador to Japan that accused China’s ban on import of seafood of Japanese origin as an economic threat to Japan. The article revealed that the U.S. and the West scheme to justify their acts of containment of China by disguising Japan, the offender as the victim.
The article went on as follows:
Regarding the discharge of nuclear-contaminated water, Japan is undoubtedly the offender and China is one of the victims.
It is a hard fact.
Nonetheless, the U.S. and the West are trying to disguise the offender as a victim, in an attempt to beg for the sympathy of the international community.
Obviously, the U.S. and the West are inclined to look down upon other nations, which is a typical expression of their supremacy.
There are simply too many recent examples to enumerate with regard to their interference in, oppression upon, threat to and even direct invasion of sovereign states.
Previously, Washington said with arrogance that it would deal with China from the position of power but later it changed its words into “not being daunted by the insult and threat from China.”
That is because the U.S. came to realize that suppression on China would receive no support from the international community and would never be realized either.
No sooner had the U.S. and the western countries today declared that they are against the “threat” from China than practical actions followed, jeopardizing the just interests of China; and once China counteracts with decisive measures, they are being tarnished by the U.S. and the West as “threats” and misused as a pretext to contain China.
All in all, changeable is the rhetoric of the U.S. and the West, and unchanged are their hegemonic theory and double standard.
In conclusion, the commentary underlined that the United States and the West would never be able to achieve the desired effect no matter what tricks or rhetoric they employ because the world people have already seen through their evil intent.
