Not long ago, a performance was given by winners in the national vocal and instrumental solo contest of officials and members of the trade unions across the country at the Central Hall of Workers to celebrate 75th founding anniversary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).
The performance impressed the audience with high artistic abilities of performers.
Many workers across the country took part in the performance.
O Yong Sung, a member of the construction brigade of Jaeryong County who appeared on the stage for male vocal quartet "We Love Our Country" in the performance said as follows:
Now I am enrolling at the study-while-working educational system.
Whenever I am called a worker-student, I am grateful to our Party.
A worker, who appeared on the stage, too, gave a deep impression to the audience. He has loved to sing songs since his childhood.
And a worker Choe Su Ryon of Pyongyang Jang Chol Gu University of Commerce was highly acclaimed by the audience for her bravura of accordion.
She said that she enjoys the worthwhile working life and although she is a mother with young children, she has graduated from a university during her working days.
Such voices could be heard from anybody.
Among them are Ryang Ok Hyang, a worker of the Rungna People’s Pleasure Park Management Office and Ri Un A, a worker of the consumer goods cooperative production station in Taesong District.
The performance involving the ordinary workers touched heartstrings of a lot of people.
