Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a reply message to Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and president of the People's Republic of China, on September 21.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in the message expressed deep thanks to Xi Jinping for his warm congratulations on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
The invariable support and encouragement of the Chinese party, government and people are powerfully inspiring our party, government and people in their struggle to defend and advance socialism victoriously, the message said.
It expressed the belief that the two parties and two countries would closely promote their solidarity and cooperation and that the DPRK-China friendly and cooperative relations would steadily develop in conformity with the requirements of the new era and the desire of the two peoples in the future, too.
It wished Xi Jinping good health and steady and good success in his responsible work of leading the Chinese party, government and people to accomplish the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
