It serves as a powerful weapon of Korean-style development and prosperity to be seized more firmly despite manifold hardships and trials.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un stressed the need to maintain the principle of self-reliance in the revolution and construction on several occasions.
Under his leadership, the Korean people have achieved significant successes consecutively in the economic development and the strengthening of the defence capability by dint of self-reliance, the proud tradition of the Korean revolution.

When he visited an enterprise in September Juche 112(2023), he praised its workers for increasing the production true to the policy of the Workers' Party of Korea on defence upbuilding and economic construction.
He said the Party members and other workers of the enterprise have a brilliant tradition of having successfully carried out the Party's defence and economic policies in the van by fully displaying the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and the spirit of resolute implementation in every decade of the revolution. And he expressed the great expectation and belief that they would unconditionally respond to the crucial decisions of the Party Central Committee with high enthusiasm.
