Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a reply message to Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and president of the Republic of Cuba, on September 21.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in the message expressed deep thanks to the first secretary for his warm congratulations on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
Our party, government and people will make every effort to firmly preserve and add luster to the precious traditions of friendship, solidarity and cooperation between the DPRK and Cuba, which have been steadily developed century after century and generation after generation, the message said.
It sincerely wished the first secretary greater success in his responsible work for defending the sovereignty and dignity of the country and the socialist cause and promoting the people's well-being.
