Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) called for making this year a year of great turn and change to be remarkably recorded in the course of development of the DPRK and set forth the strategic tasks for its realization, says Rodong Sinmun Sunday in an editorial.
To consolidate and glorify the proud successes, made so far through strenuous efforts, depends on how the set goals are attained in the remaining period, the editorial says, and goes on:
Greater spurs should be put to carrying out the tasks for this year perfectly and thus bringing excellent entities while further consolidating the successes and experience gained in the struggle so far in all aspects of politics, economy and culture.
It is the revolutionary spirit and fighting stamina peculiar to the Korean people to make uninterrupted advance and leap forward without being carried away by the victory already achieved.
The victory of this year's advance is definite as there are the outstanding leadership of the ever-victorious WPK and the people carrying its plan and determination into brilliant practice by dint of single-minded unity and through all-out stubborn struggle.
All the officials, Party members and other working people should turn out in the sacred patriotic struggle for the development of the country and thus brilliantly adorn this year as a year of great turn and change to be remarkably etched in the course of the development of the DPRK.
The editorial calls for further redoubling the fighting morale and thus glorifying this year as a year of proud victory which serves as a great watershed to be specially recorded in the course of overall development of Korean-style socialism and an important milestone in ushering in a new era of national prosperity. -0-
