Kim Chaek University of Technology, a pedigree farm for training scientific and technological personnel, is powerfully leading the sci-tech development and economic construction of the country.

They satisfactorily carried out the tasks of establishing the integrated automation system and the power management system of different factories in Kimhwa County of Kangwon Province and thus successfully ensured the inaugural ceremonies of local industry factories.
Students of the university took the first place at the "Codechef" international internet program challenge contest held in the first half of last year and won the national programming challenge contest.
