Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a message of greeting to Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic, on Thursday.
Kim Jong Un in his message extended congratulations to the president and the friendly government and people of Syria on the 53rd anniversary of the corrective movement in Syria.
After the corrective movement, the Syrian people have achieved many successes in the struggle to defend the sovereignty and develop their country, smashing all sorts of obstructive moves of the hostile forces, said the message.
Expressing belief that the historic bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation provided by the preceding leaders would grow stronger, the message wished the Syrian government and people good fruition in their efforts to accelerate the reconstruction and achieve territorial integrity.
