Pyongyang, November 17 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) and its organizations at all levels are striving to spruce up rural villages and dwelling houses.
The Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the UAWK worked out a detailed plan to be a model of the whole country in sprucing up rural houses and villages.
The municipal committee has encouraged all its primary organizations to conduct brisk movements for overtaking, learning from others and swapping experiences with each other on the model of the primary UAWK committee of the Namsa Farm in Rangnang District. In the course, many rural households planted fruit trees, trees of good species and turfs on a wide scale to add beauty to the villages and became families exemplary in establishing a socialist cultured way of life.
The South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the UAWK made sure that all its organizations in the province conduct a competition for establishing a cultured way of life on the model of dwelling houses at the modern Ryonpho Greenhouse Farm.
The committee is arousing its members and agricultural workers to the work for taking good care of villages and dwelling houses including painting and road management.
UAWK organizations in other regions, too, are striving to spruce up and take good care of new houses built at state expense.
