Pyongyang, November 18 (KCNA) -- True to the intention of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea to turn the Kumsong Tractor Factory into a treasure factory directing the development of the country's agricultural machine industry, the soldier- and civilian-builders are stepping up the second-stage remodeling and modernization project.
Commanding officers of a unit of the Korean People's Army and officials of the factory have controlled the project with a goal to successfully finish it.
Soldier-builders finished the framework of production buildings, raw material preparation workshop and coal-mining yard, while inventing and introducing advanced building methods to ensure the speed and quality of construction.
Giving priority to the supply of materials, they have stepped up the production and installation of roof truss on buildings, roofing and plastering the interior and exterior in a three-dimensional way by giving full play to the creative wisdom and enthusiasm.
Workers of the factory are pushing ahead with the project for building various cultural and welfare facilities by increasing the capacity of construction equipment through a mass technical innovation movement.
Soldier-builders and workers of the factory are planting lawns and hundreds of trees with sincerity to keep the greening and the improvement of the area in good condition.
Thanks to their devoted efforts, the second-stage reconstruction and modernization of the Kumsong Tractor Factory is progressing apace.
