Russian President refers to significance of world youth festival to be held next year

Russian President Vladimir Putin on November 21 expressed the belief that the world youth festival scheduled to be held next spring will contribute to the formation of a multipolar world.
In a video speech he delivered in connection with the fact that there are 100 days to go until the opening of the festival, he said that the festival would open in Russia on March 1 2024 and that the country would welcome honoured guests from across the world.
Lots of applications have already been sent from over 180 countries, he said, and added that it tells that there is no force beyond friendship.
He expressed the belief that the festival will serve as a significant occasion in the process of forming a multipolar world and unite youths in finding necessary solutions to the modern world order and creating a framework for cooperation, a guideline for the establishment of relations between countries.
The Sochi world youth festival will take place in Sochi, Russia, from March 1 to 7 in 2024 as part of the development of international youth cooperation according to the decree of Russian President Putin.
