Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- Amid growing political enthusiasm of all the people across the country to firmly consolidate the people's power and give fuller play to the advantages of Korean-style socialism, the election of deputies to provincial (municipal), city (district) and county people's assemblies was successfully held in the DPRK on Sunday.
According to data available at the central election guidance committee, 99.63 percent of electors participated in voting, except those on foreign tour or working in oceans.
Those voters troubled with aging or illness cast their ballots into mobile ballot boxes.
The count of votes for the candidates for deputies to provincial (municipal), city (district) and county people's assemblies registered in relevant constituencies is being carried out by the election committees at constituencies across the country. -0-
