Pyongyang, November 28 (KCNA) -- The 66th candlelight rally and demonstration took place in Seoul on Nov. 25 amid the mounting resentment towards traitor Yoon Suk Yeol.
At the rally held on the theme of "Peace with impeachment", speakers charged that not content with having waged a frantic nuclear war drill in collusion with the U.S. imperialists and Japanese reactionaries, Yoon scrapped the military agreement, the least security device capable of preventing the conflict between the south and the north.
They said that Yoon, who poses a threat to the life and security of the people by strengthening the nuclear war alliance with the U.S. and Japan, is the enemy of all the people.
A written appeal titled "Let us defend peace with impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol" was read out at the rally.
The appeal said that Yoon's act of fostering the danger of war is a serious crime that will drive the lives of the people to death, adding that to remove Yoon from power as early as possible is the way for preventing the disaster of war and protecting peace.
The participants in the rally marched toward the puppet presidential office, chanting slogans like "Impeachment is peace! Let us oust Yoon Suk Yeol crying out for war!", "Let us impeach Yoon Suk Yeol who scraped the south-north agreement and is hell-bent on war!" and "Let us remove Yoon Suk Yeol from power through all-people resistance!"
They held another rally near the puppet presidential office.
They staged a ceremony of tearing up the placards reading "Yoon Suk Yeol fanning up war and destroying peace", "Yoon Suk Yeol illegally controlling media", etc.
That day, media in the region of south Korean puppets reported that candlelight actions were staged despite the freezing weather and the people's anger towards the war maniac Yoon Suk Yeol is mounting. -0-
