Pyongyang, November 28 (KCNA) -- A new stockbreeding farm has been built in Kangdong County of Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK.
The farm has modern and diverse styles of educational, health and welfare service facilities, hundreds of dwelling houses and production and public buildings, and its appearance renewed the looks of the seat of Songgum-ri.
With the birth of this model and comprehensive livestock farm in the Kangdong area, one more solid foundation was provided to supply tasty and quality dairy products to the children of nurseries and kindergartens in the capital city on a regular basis.
An inaugural ceremony took place on Monday.
Present there were Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ri Man Song, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal Rural Economy Committee, officials concerned, builders and agricultural workers in Kangdong County.
Choe Hui Thae, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal People's Committee, made an inaugural address.
The speaker stressed that modern township village and stockbreeding base built in Songgum-ri are precious outcome of the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who unfolded the grand plan for rural construction and the strategy for rural development in the new era and provided the childcare policy for the rising generation.
Licenses for the use of houses were conveyed and speeches were made there.
Amid the cheerful dancing of agricultural workers who are to enjoy a happy life in the new rural village, officials shared joy with the owners of new houses and looked round the dairy cattle branch farm, the mixed feed production workteam and other parts of the farm. -0-
