All the people of our country push ahead with the work to implement the Party’s decisions with the will to victoriously conclude this year’s struggle.
All the farms across the country put spurs to the farming preparation for next year and remarkable successes are made in the main construction sites of the 10 000 flats of second-stage in the Hwasong area, Kangdong Greenhouse Farm and rural dwelling houses.
Different sectors of the national economy such as metal, chemical and power industries make valuable successes in the struggle to attain the 12 major goals for national economic development and implement the readjustment and reinforcement strategy of the Party.
The proud successes spring from the steadfast faith of our people to overcome all the hardships and difficulties by our own strength and technology holding aloft the banner of self-reliance.
The present situation demands that all the officials, Party members and other working people of the country fully display the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and traits of creation in order to perfectly carry out this year’s target set forth by the Party.
Self-development capability is the main force which makes all the sectors and units strengthen their driving force depending on their own efforts, technology and resources, ensure today and tomorrow and confidently open the way for sustained development.
It is very important to brace oneself for his strength.
The biggest taboo in growing the self-development capability is to depend on others. If one depends on others, he will be infected with the importation fever.
Inevitable is to fully display the might of self-reliance depending on science and technology.
Self-reliance is impossible without science and technology today in the age of science and technology.
It is also important to personify solving all problems arising in the production and construction by one’s own strength, technology and resources and make a habit of it.
We can achieve stable and sustained development when we solve the problems arising in vitalizing production, readjustment and reinforcement with the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and fortitude.
The developing speed of our country will be accelerated and the plan of our Party for people’s well-being will be realized when we create precious wealth of self-reliance and self-sufficiency much more, keeping in mind the principle of giving priority to self-development.
