Young people volunteer to work at difficult and challenging sectors of the socialist construction today when the struggle for the rejuvenation of the state is dynamically waged.
Thousands of young people volunteered to work at difficult and challenging sectors only in a few months after the Eighth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea to implement the decisions of the Party Congress.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un highly praised it as a heroic deed like running to the frontline in wartime to block an enemy pillbox without hesitation.
Rim Kwang Chol, Chief Instructor of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, says:
"Grand celebrations of the Youth Day took place in the capital city of Pyongyang on August 28, 2020 amid the concern and blessing of the whole country.
The respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un invited the young people who volunteered to work in the difficult and challenging sectors of the socialist construction as delegates to the celebrations and sent them a letter of congratulations. And he highly appreciated the young people, saying it is a manifestation of their noble outlook on life and future that a lot of youth faithful to the call of the Party and the revolution are produced.
He warmly said the group of young people should become a spark of struggle and a prairie fire everywhere and that they should become young heroes working for the national prosperity and progress with patriotism.
Elated by his great love and trust, more and more young people volunteered to work in the difficult and challenging sectors of the socialist construction.
They were born and grew up in different hometowns and have different hopes. With the dream and ideal to support the intention of the Party, however, all of them go to work places and villages others are not willing to go."
The Korean young people are loyal to the call of the country and faithful to the society and collective, and work heart and soul for the future.
In retrospect, the period of upsurge of the Korean revolution began with the high enthusiasm of young people for volunteering and the enthusiasm further fuelled the revolutionary and patriotic zeal throughout the country.
The Korean young people are working miracles and making innovations one after another.
