To Fulfill Her Duty

Pak Chun Ae, wife of a special class disabled soldier and mother of servicepersons, lives in the Neighborhood Unit No. 62 of Kyongam-dong, Sariwon City.

Her husband, who had been an officer of the Korean People’s Army (KPA), became a special class disabled soldier by an unexpected accident 20 years ago.

Thanks to the deep care of the motherly Party, her youngest daughter entered Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School. Since then she has dedicated her sincerity to the work for managing the surrounding area of the statue of President Kim Il Sung together with her children.

She has assisted the army visiting KPA units together with her children and frequently asked them to become soldiers of the KPA for the country. So, after the graduation from middle school her children joined the KPA to defend the motherland.

Although she was busy with taking care of her disabled husband, she sent aid materials to the main construction sites including the Samjiyon construction site and sincerely helped the builders in terms of manpower.

She was honored to have a souvenir picture taken with the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un when she took part in the 6th Congress of the Democratic Women’s Union of Korea in November Juche 105(2016).

Even now she is working hard to do good things for the country mindful that it is due duty of a citizen to repay the benefits of the motherly Party.

Dream of Genuine Farmer

Wang Pok Sil is well known as a genuine farmer at the Komsan Farm in Sukchon County. She is proud of her son Choe Kwang envied by the entire farm. Choe Kwang is a scientist who won a gold medal in the 53rd International Math Olympiad and now makes contributions to strengthening the national power.

She paid deep attention to bringing up her children. Returning home after daily farm work she helped her children’s study and led them to do a lot of good things for the collective and comrades.

In vacations she tried to implant patriotism into the mind of her children walking along the lanes across fields together with them.

She has devoted herself to bringing up her children into pillars of the country.

As she desired, Choe Kwang displayed the honor of the country all over the world in his middle-school hood and now he is a pride of the home villagers, serving as a talent upholding the Party and the state.

Pillar of the country, pride of native home!

This is the highest glory and pride for mothers who devote themselves to their children.

Increased Family Members

One day 11 years ago, a woman Pang Mi Hyang visited Sinuiju Baby Home. She is living in Chaeha-dong, Sinuiju City.

When she opened the door of favorite room, three girls ran into her bosom calling her "mama". At the moment she hesitated to think if she had right to be called "mama".

In fact, she had been familiar with them and taken care of them since the previous year.

Her husband working at the baby home told her almost every day about the love and benefits sown by the Party and the state for parentless children. So, she made up her mind to bring up the three girls.

She and her husband have a six-year-old daughter and a three-year-old parentless boy whom her husband took to home saying that the boy was their son. Adding three girls, she became the mother of five children with the mind to lighten the burden of the respected General Secretary.

Our country has numerous excellent mothers like Pang Mi Hyang who find worth living in devoting themselves to the large socialist family.

Our country is full of warm love and kindred affection, thanks to such good mothers who bring up orphans with the noble outlook.
