Pyongyang, December 4 (KCNA) -- Various kinds of vegetables are now growing at the Jungphyong Greenhouse Farm in Jungphyong area, Kyongsong County, North Hamgyong Province in the northern part of the DPRK, despite cold weather.
The farm is associated with the leadership feats of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who initiated the construction of a large-scale greenhouse farm for the people and made painstaking efforts, visiting the construction site over and over.
When visiting the then Jungphyong Vegetable Greenhouse Farm on December 3, Juche 108 (2019), he said that quantitative indices are important in vegetable production but nutritional indices and taste are more important, stressing the need for the farm to positively introduce advanced science and technology and realize its optimization.
He said that there are places far and near from geographical point of view but there are no people far and near in his mind and there is nothing more desirable if the vegetable greenhouse farm contributes to the dietary life of the people in North Hamgyong Province.
Thanks to his loving care, fresh vegetables are growing at the greenhouses in all seasons to give pleasure to the people in the province.
Indeed, the sea of vegetables at the Jungphyong Greenhouse Farm is a precious fruition of the noble love of the respected General Secretary for the people. -0-
