Changed Name
It was one June day in Juche 107(2018) when the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the newly-built Pyongyang Taedonggang Seafood Restaurant.
Looking round the interior of the first floor packed with big indoor ponds teemed with sturgeon, Ryongjong Fish, salmon, rainbow-trout and other fishes of high quality and shellfishes, he, all of a sudden, asked officials if the people felt inconvenience to call the name of that restaurant.
Till then, it had been called "Okryu Live Fish Restaurant, Store".
Hearing the answer of an official that they did, the respected General Secretary said that it should be renamed and that when naming a service establishment, convenience in pronunciation and the content of service must be taken into account.
Looking around the fish pools for a while, he said that it would be good to call the restaurant "Pyongyang Taedonggang Seafood Restaurant".
The accompanying officials marveled in admiration. It was such a euphonious and apparent name.
The sincerity of the respected General Secretary who always thinks of the people first gave birth to such a popular name.
Newly-appeared Bus Stop
One February day in Juche 103 (2014), the respected General Secretary visited the remodeled Meari Shooting Gallery.
While giving precious instructions on service activities looking round several places of the gallery for a long time, he, all of a sudden, inquired of accompanying officials about the traffic problem.
At that time, it was a difficult problem because the gallery was far away from the downtown.
Grasping that at once, the respected General Secretary said that it would be difficult for the visitors to come there without vehicles, and for such a reason, the bus problem should be settled so that they can come to the gallery, noting that bus stops should be set up in various places in Pyongyang.
And then he made an earnest request to the officials for providing the visitors with the traffic conditions so that they were served in the gallery even on Sundays.
Newly-appeared bus stop!
It shows the warm love of the respected General Secretary who pays deep attention to our people ensuring that they lead the cultural and emotional life without slight inconvenience.
