Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) -- A splendid ideal street for the people has been built in the Sopho area, the north gate to Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, thanks to the ardent patriotism and loyalty of millions of young vanguard who will fully demonstrate the might of the youth power without an equal in the world by creating new legendary tales about heroic youth glorifying the great era of Kim Jong Un .
As the large architectural group in the street is symbolic of the wisdom and bravery of the young vanguard, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) of the DPRK decided to name the two parts of Sopho area Jonwi(vanguard)-dong No. 1 and Jonwi-dong No. 2 and attach them to Hyongjesan District in Pyongyang Municipality.
It also decided to call the section from Sosan Crossroads in front of the Three-Revolution Exhibition House to Sambong Bridge Jonwi Street.
It said that the Cabinet of the DPRK and relevant organs would take practical measures to implement the decree.
A relevant decree of the SPA Standing Committee in this regard was issued on December 5. -0-
