A congratulatory performance was given on Dec. 6 in honor of the mothers who received great blessing from the great Party Central Committee at the 5th National Conference of Mothers that demonstrated the resplendent future of a powerful country and the promising prospects of the DPRK’s cause amid the successful continuity of the proud history and traditions of Korean mothers through generations.
The venue of the performance was overflowing with deep gratitude to the Workers’ Party of Korea that crowned mothers with the laurel of all victory won by the DPRK during the advance in the new era and then arranged a significant performance of congratulation.
Among the performers were artistes from major art troupes including the State Merited Chorus and the Samjiyon Orchestra.
Put on the stage were hymns dedicated to the WPK, famous songs in praise of the Korean mothers and other colorful numbers.
The performers well represented the idea that the care of the WPK, all the sons and daughters in the country have followed, calling it the great mother by heart, guarantees the destiny and future of all mothers and their high dignity and honor.
Lots of children’s union members entered the venue of the performance to present the mothers with flowers as a token of congratulation.
The performance also displayed a series of songs in praise of the merits of mothers who have fostered the strength of the country and cultivated the beautiful flower garden of a large socialist family with their ardent patriotism and loyalty and maternal affection in the long journey of the revolution.
The participants in the conference gave thunderous applause to the performers who offered warm congratulations and encouragement to them with such excellent performance.
