Once the Chairman visited the construction site of power station in the area of Samsu, northern part of the country.
That day, inquiring about the housing problem of the residents living in the area to be submerged, he instructed that the people’s living condition is more important than the electricity and new houses should be built for the residents, which are better than the old ones.
When he called on a discharged soldier’s family during his field guidance to Taehongdan County, granting the request of the discharged soldier’s wife for naming a baby to be born, the Chairman showed the parental affection to the family.
And when he met the family workteam members working as road workers on Kubong Pass, he had a souvenir photo taken with them.
Whenever he visited new streets and new factories, his first question was, "Do the people like it?"
Not only above-told stories but also many other stories recorded in the history of the revolutionary leadership of the Chairman convey his noble life of devoted service to the people.
No matter how much water may flow under the bridge, our people never forget the benevolent image of the Chairman who devoted his all to the people saying that his whole life boils down to the devotion to people and if the people wish, he would grow flowers even on the rock for them.
Now our people, full of ardent yearning for the Chairman, burn with desire to uphold him as the eternal sun forever.
