On December 5, 2023 the non-permanent Sign Language Deliberation Commission of Korea met in the building of the Korea Economic and Cultural Exchange Company for the Deaf and Blind.  Attended by the chairperson and members of the non-permanent Sign Language Deliberation Commission of Korea, the director of the Sign Language Interpreters` Association of Korea, the director and members of the Deaf Association of Korea, and teachers from the schools for children with hearing impairment in all provinces, the meeting deliberated 180 new words and added them to the vocabulary of Korean sign language.By meeting on a regular basis, the Sign Language Deliberation Commission of Korea establishes and disseminates newly coined words for the convenience of the people with hearing impairment.
