Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- The Komdok area of the DPRK is undergoing a dramatic change thanks to the noble intention and will of the great Party Central Committee.

This year saw a series of housewarming parties in several places of the Komdok area including Taehung-dong No. 1 and Muhak-dong of Tanchon City, and the mining town in the area is full of happy laughter of people enjoying new civilization and new ideal coming true in their blessed homes.

The scenic view of the ravine town that underwent a great change under the guidance of the Workers' Party mirrors the imperishable feats of service personnel of the Korean People's Army.

When he visited the far-off Komdok area in October Juche 109 (2020), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un unfolded a far-reaching plan and blueprint for wonderfully transforming the area into a country's model mountain and mining town second to Samjiyon City.

Saying that the speed of the Korean revolution depends on the pace of the KPA and the latter's pace means the former's speed of advance, he put great trust in the KPA, entrusting it with the task of turning the area of Komdok into a model mining town representing a great change in the era of the Workers' Party and into the birthplace of an unprecedented legendary miracle.

To live up to the trust by the General Secretary, the service personnel of the KPA built new splendid houses in the mining town one after another in the spirit of the powerful a-match-for-a-hundred revolutionary army that indomitably advances straight forward through thick and thin to carry out the order by the Workers' Party of Korea.

The officers of every unit launched dynamic organization and command over the project to make sure that the elated passion of the solider-builders leads to substantial successes.

In less than one year after the groundbreaking, thousands of single- and low-storied dwelling houses, multi-story and high-rise flats and terraced houses were built along the deep ravines of Kumgol-dong Nos. 1, 2 and 3, Taehung-dong No. 2, Paekgumsan-dong and Thamsa-dong of Tanchon City. In this way, the solider-builders created another fairyland of the new era, and continued the building project in 2022.

Not a single day has passed in the Komdok area without building work, and wonderful houses mushroomed in 2022, too, according to the blueprint of prosperity laid out by the Party Central Committee.

In 2023, the soldier-builders faced more gigantic tasks than ever.

But "Yes, we are at your command" was their reply to the order of the Party, and they raised the flames of innovation with stronger revolutionary spirit of self-reliance.

For the past four years since they went to Komdok under the order of the Party, the solider-builders have built houses for more than 20 000 families, thus once again clearly verifying the immutable truth that the Party's plan and determination precisely mean practice and victory.

The history of dramatic changes in the Komdok area continues, singing of the endless benevolence of the motherly Party for the people and the heroic feats of the KPA service personnel. -0-
