Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- A DPRK-China friendship film show for 2024 was held at the Taedongmun Cinema on Tuesday in the joint name of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, the DPRK-China Friendship Association, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China and the Chinese embassy here.
Present there were So Ho Won, chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, Mun Song Hyok, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Pak Myong Ho, vice foreign minister, Pak Kyong Il, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who doubles as chairman of the DPRK-China Friendship Association, officials concerned and working citizens.
Among the audience were Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and members of his embassy, a Liaoning provincial cultural delegation of China led by Liu Huiyan, head of the Publicity Department of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China who is a member of its Standing Committee, and other Chinese guests on a visit to the DPRK and Chinese residents here.
Speeches were made at the film show.
Speakers noted that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the People's Republic of China (PRC) several times with the will to invariably preserve the long tradition of the DPRK-China friendship and the revolutionary obligation and successfully carry forward and develop the DPRK-China relations generation after generation.
They expressed the will to strive for the development of the traditional DPRK-China friendship, true to the noble intention of the top leaders of the two countries.
Then the participants watched a Korean documentary film dealing with the undying exploits of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who put the DPRK-China friendship onto a new high stage through his historic visits to the PRC. -0-
