Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- The 30th Plenary Meeting of the 14th Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) of the DPRK took place at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Feb. 7.
Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and chairman of the SPA Standing Committee, presided over the plenary meeting.
Present there were Vice-Chairmen Kang Yun Sok and Kim Ho Chol, Secretary General Ko Kil Son and other members of the SPA Standing Committee.
Officials concerned of the SPA Standing Committee, the Secretariat of the Cabinet, ministries and national institutions were on hand as observers.
The plenary meeting discussed the issue of abolishing the law of the DPRK on north-south economic cooperation, the law on the special zone for international tour of Mt Kumgang and regulations for its enforcement and agreements on north-south economic cooperation, the issue of approving the master plan for land development in the Munphyong area and the issue of recalling and electing judges of the Central Court.
The plenary meeting adopted the decree of the SPA Standing Committee "On abolishing the law of the DPRK on north-south economic cooperation, the law on special zone for international tour of Mt Kumgang and regulations for its enforcement and agreements on north-south economic cooperation" with unanimous approbation.
Then followed a report on the master plan for land development in the Munphyong area.
Reflected in detail in the master plan are the practical issues for giving a new appearance to the region and providing the people with more civilized living conditions and environment by conducting the land and environment protection, urban management and construction in the Munphyong area in a scientific way on a long-term basis.
The plenary meeting studied and deliberated the master plan for land development in the Munphyong area and adopted a relevant decree.
The plenary meeting recalled and elected judges of the Central Court of the DPRK. -0-
